 Mounties Wanderers FC is a semi-professional football club based  in Mount Pritchard. They currently play in the NPL 2 NSW Men's competition after being promoted at the conclusion of the 2011 season. The Club was formed in 1978 as Mount Pritchard Soccer Club,  changing their name to Mounties Wanderers FC towards the end of 2009 Season after amalgamating with Sydney Wanderers FC, historically linked with the Australian - Maltese community and that is the reason it features a Maltese Cross on its logo.
